Inspired by the fishing tradition of our ancestors, A Caseta de Sil is a sanctuary with soul in the heart of Lira. Our house pays tribute to our family heritage: it is built upon the old hut of my grandfather, the Diver Dosil, who participated in the dismantling of the historic ship Ariete in 1966.
From that dismantling, we carefully rescued pieces that now breathe life into our interior: his original diving helmet (our logo), a helm, and a ship’s compass. We have renovated this historic space to combine it with the ultimate modern comfort facing the Atlantic, offering you an authentic slow tourism experience.
